as surfers we are lucky enough to see some of the most beautiful places our planet has to offer. it is easy to get distracted in those surroundings, however we need to be aware of what we do and how our actions can affect the future. If you see a beautiful place, you would love to go back or even show it to your kids, right?

walking on the reef to get the perfect photo or an easy access to the lineup can cause real damage to the corals which need many years to re-grow.

having a bonfire at the beach is always good fun. but make sure you take back with you whatever does not belong there. tins and plastic bags don't actually disappear by themselves.

you do not have to be a tree-hugger to be good, simply use common sense. use organic wax on your board, try to buy organic clothing and food, re-use your shopping bags and recycle everything you can! and does the motor of your car really need to remain on while you are doing your groceries?
